4 Dimensions, Time and 9

Now take 9 minutes out to watch this youngster explain, straight off the top of his head, how it all works when you get your head around multiple dimensions. Note the resemblance of the backdrop to Devils Tower in Close Encounters - I thinks that's rather cute myself, and wonder if it was a 'coincidence' or not.

There was a huge - seriously huge furore over whether neutrinos travelled faster than light a few years back. In 2012 New Scientist declared that they don't, but they 'shape-shift' (oscillate). Fair admission, that's allowed to happen in standard physics. A top-gun resigned from his post. Lots of quashings happened very quickly. The most recent post I could find on Google's first few pages (Dec 2014) was Tech Times on Tachyons, those theoretical particles that nobody can be sure exist at all but they crop up in awkward places. 

Then, as if that wasn't enough, have a look at Nicola Renshaw's discovery of the most influential 2.58 minutes you're ever likely to spend, if you ever had an inkling that 9 was important.
